During COVID-19, some things have taken on a new meaning. This song “You’re Not Alone” was originally part of the Ministry of Sound tour, but has now been reimagined by the London Concert Orchestra, Alexandra Burke, and The NHS Choir – Lewisham & Greenwich.
Each musician / singer performed and recorded their part in their own home. It was a massive team effort and I think it’s something special – the aim is to raise funds and awareness for the amazing work the NHS are doing, right now and everyday.
Thanks to Owen Kent’s tireless work, James Rutherford’s orchestra, and Robin Hoffmann’s excellent arrangement, Nick Jekyll’s video editing chops, Jake Jackson & Ashley Andrew-Jones at AIR for donating their time to get it sounding brilliant, Phil Wright for recording Alexandra and setting the whole project up, technically. Big thank you to all involved from all at Coalition Agency and Ministry of Sound – And finally, every one of the players.
